HVAC Bids
INVITATION TO BIDDERS
Jasper R-V School District is requesting sealed bids for a HVAC system in a gymnasium located at 201 W. Mercer St., Jasper, MO. This project is under the Davis-Bacon Act (DBA) and prevailing wage requirements apply. Clearly marked bids (“Gym HVAC Bid”) are due in the superintendent’s office at 201 W. Mercer St., Jasper, MO by 1:00 p.m. on September 15, 2023. The school district has the right to reject any or all bids.

Changes Begin Monday, April 3rd
Dear parents and guardians,
Our district has installed a new road starting behind Tabler Gymnasium in order to be utilized for bus drop off/pick up and parent drop off/pick up. We believe this will give us a safer and more efficient alternative to the usage of Mercer Street in front of the schools. We are currently already utilizing this for our buses but will start using it for parent drop off/pick up on Monday, April 3rd.
Please read the following instructions for new parent drop off/pick up procedures:
Parent Drop Off:
Parent drop off will now begin at 7:40am. This is to allow the buses (which arrive at 7:30) time to unload and get off the road before we begin this process. If you arrive before this time, please begin lining up on Park street and not Mercer. Park street will also be utilized for lining up during parent pick up as well before the gate is opened. The gate to enter behind Table will be shut until the buses have finished unloading and will be opened at 7:40am. Please stay in a single file line and pull up to the steps behind Godfrey to allow your child to exit the vehicle. Cars will unload one at a time in order to keep the line consistently moving. We will have multiple staff members available to help students exit the vehicle and we ask that you do not exit your vehicle at this time. Once the child has exited safely, you will be notified that it is safe to leave and allowed to exit. We do understand that for any unforeseen circumstances that you have to drop a student off before the 7:40 time, you may park in the parking lot across the street from the elementary and allow them to use the crosswalk to enter the building. There will still be crossing guards available.
Parent Pick Up:
Parent pick up will work in the exact same fashion as parent drop off. We will not begin pick up or allowing cars to enter the gate until the buses have left. Please begin lining up on Park street and the gate will be opened and cars will be allowed to enter as soon as buses have exited. We will have staff stationed on the road to ensure we are radioing in to staff inside in order to have kids lined up ready to exit when your car arrives at the back steps. We will load one car at a time once again in order to keep a continuous flow of traffic moving. Once your student is safely in the car you will be motioned to exit. Once again, please stay in your vehicles in order to keep this a continuous moving line. We do ask that cars not begin lining up until 3pm.
As always with something new, there will be bumps in the road but we hope to be able to fix these issues as quickly as possible in order to make this very easy on you all and as seamless as possible. We truly appreciate all your help and you being patient with us to make sure that our drop off and pick up procedures are as safe as possible for all our students.
